About

I'm a student who learns by building things, and figuring out why they break.

I'm a final-year Computer Engineering & Informatics student at the University of Patras, interested in data, machine learning and backend development. Recently I did a data-engineering internship with the ALICE experiment at GSI / CERN, where I got to work hands-on with large scientific datasets and an HPC cluster.

Most of what I know comes from building projects: a distributed hash-table simulation, a TF-IDF search engine with an evaluation pipeline, and smaller things around spatial indexing, databases and networks. I like understanding why a system behaves the way it does, not just making it work. I mostly write Python and C/C++, and I've used scikit-learn, NumPy and Pandas for the data-heavy ones.

I'm looking for a graduate or junior role in backend, data or ML, somewhere I can learn from strong engineers and work on real problems. If that sounds like your team, feel free to reach out.
